Fact → Chimpanzee’s Fuzzy Photographs Set to Sell for up to £70,000

“As is probably stated somewhere in the theory of infinity, if you give an infinite amount of monkeys an infinite number of old-timey Polaroid cameras, one will eventually take “artistic” blurry photos of historical sites in Moscow which will then be auctioned at Sotheby's for an estimated $75,000 – $100,000. Fortunately for every simian art fan with a spare $100k, we are currently living in the very universe in which that concept is reality. Eighteen photographs by – and of – Mikki The Chimpanzee are going to auction on June 5, 2013”. – Callie Beusman via Jezebel.com. (Photo by Guzelian)

Educative → Cossack's Song “Не для меня придёт весна”, Plus Bonus (MUSIC VIDEO)

The song is presented in this publication in two different executions. The first (performed by monastic chorus) – classical, but bad. The second – national, good. Enjoy.

Appealing → Yakutsk: The Coldest City on Earth

Yakutsk, a remote city in Eastern Siberia along the Lena River, is the coldest city in the world. Located 1840 km away from Irkoustk and 5000 km away from Moscow, this city founded in 1632 by the Cossacks imposes upon its inhabitants an extreme way of life. And yet, despite particularly harsh conditions, Yakutsk boasts a population of 270,000, or a quarter of the entire population of Siberia. No other place on the planet experiences the temperature extreme found here: in winter, the temperatures regularly fall to minus 40° (the coldest temperature recorded was –64°C) and in summer often reaches temperatures above 30°C. Fact → Russia Spice Hunters

In this photo taken on Friday, March 15, 2013, members of a pro-Kremlin youth group attack pushers of spice, a synthetic drug, in Moscow, Russia. Russian officials and anti-drugs campaigners say that spice has become one of the most dangerous drugs widely available to youngsters and almost impossible to ban because of the constantly changing chemical ingredients.
